Volleyball Recap: Rocklin Snags Seventh Victory in Last Eight Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Folsom, Rocklin was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the San Ramon Valley Wolves. The Thunder have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wolves, too.

Rocklin can attribute much of their success to Devon Schweitzer, who had six digs and four aces. That's the most aces Schweitzer has posted since back in October of 2024. Kaleigh Morasci also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Rocklin has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-4 record this season. As for San Ramon Valley, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 20-5 record.

Coincidentally, Rocklin and San Ramon Valley will both be playing Woodcreek the next time they take the court. The Wolves will head out to face the Timberwolves at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Thunder will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
