Volleyball Recap: Leesburg Picks Up Second Consecutive Win

South Sumter came into Thursday's game looking for another win against Leesburg, but Elizabeth Snyder wouldn't allow it. The Yellow Jackets came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 3-1 on Thursday with plenty of help from Snyder, who had 12 digs and seven aces. Snyder is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Leesburg walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The final score came out to 25-16, 25-16, 15-25, 25-15.

The win made it two in a row for Leesburg and bumps their season record up to 2-3. As for South Sumter, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Leesburg will welcome South Lake at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, South Sumter and Central will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
