The Navarro Panthers had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They strolled past Port Isabel with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 29-13. The win was familiar territory for Navarro who now have four in a row.
Navarro got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Mack Berry out in front who picked up 103 receiving yards and a touchdown. Nicholas Schwarzlose was in the mix too, providing Navarro with two touchdowns.
Despite the loss, Port Isabel still got an impressive performance from Tristan Garcia, who rushed for 94 yards and two touchdowns.
Navarro has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Port Isabel, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 9-3.
Navarro is on the road again on Friday and play against Sinton at 7:30 p.m. on November 24th. Sinton has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 363 points over their last eight contests. Port Isabel does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
