The Catalyst-Maria Wolves came tearing into Monday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.4 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against Our Lady of Tepeyac by a score of 39-28. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Catalyst-Maria also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Janiyah Shelby was her usual excellent self, scoring 16 points.
Catalyst-Maria pushed their record up to 15-5 with that win, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Our Lady of Tepeyac, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
