Baseball Recap: Tillamook Wins Going Away Against Astoria

Tillamook barely beat Astoria the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cheesemakers were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Fishermen on Friday. Considering the Cheesemakers have won four games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Tillamook's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Astoria, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Tillamook will face off against rival Scappoose at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Astoria is set to take on their familiar foe Seaside at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
