Osceola (Mo.) didn't let up as Saturday's game came to a close, scoring seven in the fourth quarter to seal a 37-14 victory over
Drexel (Mo.).
After taking the lead on a
Driston Self touchdown run in the first quarter, the Indians were up 21-8 at the half.
Osceola expanded its lead to 16 points entering the fourth quarter. OHS scored two times in the third, including once on a field goal by
Drew Carney.
The victory was a completely different match up compared to last season's game between these two teams, which the Bobcats took, 40-0.
The loss comes after Drexel defeated Archie 59-22 last week. The loss snapped Drexel's three-game winning streak. The win brought Osceola's winning streak to three games.
Drexel (3-1) goes up against Midway in a Western Missouri game matchup next week, while Osceola (3-1) locks horns with Rich Hill also in a Western Missouri game.
