Last Wednesday, Jefferson Prep came up short against Our Lady of the Sun Academy and fell 57-49.
Brighton Charter posted their closest victory yet this season on Monday. They had just enough and edged Sonoran Science Academy out 45-43.
Among those leading the charge was Jaziel Nunez, who scored 20 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Dylan Mastrapasqua, who scored nine points along with 12 rebounds and two steals.
Jefferson Prep has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Brighton Charter, their victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-6.
