The Bay Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They took a hard 50-31 fall against Greene County. If Bay hoped to take revenge for the 40-22 loss against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
Greene County can attribute much of their success to Tylan Blackston, who scored 23 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Brycen Johnson, who scored seven points along with two steals.
Bay has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season. As for Greene County, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Pass Christian the next time they take the court. Bay will head out to face Pass Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Greene County will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
