After losing to the Memphis School of Excellence Winchester Eagles the last time they met, the Oakhaven Hawks decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Oakhaven came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 53-43 on Wednesday.
Oakhaven's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jertavien Williams, who scored 18 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Williams has scored at least a third of Oakhaven's points. Amari Spates was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Oakhaven now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Memphis School of Excellence Winchester, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
