Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Union County). They blew past the West Nassau Warriors 55-32 on Tuesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Fightin' Tigers considering their 19-point performance the contest before.

Heaven Scott was the offensive standout of the match as she went 7 for 13 on her way to 17 points and six rebounds. Gabrielle Moore was another key player, going 5 of 7 on her way to 12 points and six rebounds.

With the victory, Union County broke their nine-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-9. As for West Nassau, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

After both having extra time off, Union County and Keystone Heights will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Union County is facing Keystone Heights at the right time seeing as Keystone Heights is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. West Nassau and KIPP Bold City will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
