Odessa waltzed into their contest on Saturday with six straight wins...and they left with seven. Everything went their way against the Sherwood Marksmen as they made off with a 16-1 win. Considering the Bulldogs have won 10 matchups by more than five runs this season, another big win was nothing new.

Odessa's victory brought them up to 20-12. As for Sherwood, they have traveled a rocky road for a while, having lost 19 of their last 22 games. That's taken a bite out of their 5-21 record this season.

Coincidentally, Odessa and Sherwood will both be playing Lafayette County the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will host the Huskers on Saturday, while the Marksmen will host them on Sunday.
