Even though the Old Plank Christian Academy Defenders scored an imposing 56 points on Friday, the Duval Charter Panthers still came out on top. Duval Charter secured a 60-56 W over Old Plank Christian Academy.
It was another big night for Kendan Tice, who scored 20 points along with eight rebounds and six assists. That's the first time this season that he pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jayden Oseni, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and four blocks.
Duval Charter's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Old Plank Christian Academy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-12.
Duval Charter won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Eagle's View at 12:00 p.m. on January 27th. One thing working in Eagle's View's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 15 matchups. As for Old Plank Christian Academy, Old Plank Christian Academy and Victory Christian Academy will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
