There's no place like home for Sandy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They blew past the Gresham Gophers 14-3 on Friday. The Pioneers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Sandy's record now sits at 15-9. As for Gresham, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sandy will head out to square off against Nelson on Tuesday. Sandy's pitchers better be ready for this one: Nelson has averaged an impressive 9.2 runs per game this season. As for Gresham, they will head out on the road to take on Barlow at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bruins' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Gophers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
