They put the hurt on Kearny with a sharp 62-41 victory. The result was nothing new for El Capitan, who have now won five matches by 21 points or more so far this season.
El Capitan's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Andy Novelo-Gerardo, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. Novelo-Gerardo set a new season high mark in blocks with six. Another player making a difference was Kayden McMahon, who went 6 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 20 points and 3 assists.
El Capitan pushed their record up to 8-1 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Kearny, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

As for Kearny, they will be playing at home against High Tech CV at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. High Tech CV has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 386 points over their last five games.
