El Capitan's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Andy Novelo-Gerardo, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. Novelo-Gerardo set a new season high mark in blocks with six. Another player making a difference was Kayden McMahon, who went 6 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 20 points and 3 assists.
