Even though the Lauderdale County Tigers scored an imposing 55 points on Tuesday, the Lawrence County Red Devils still came out on top. Lawrence County took their matchup against Lauderdale County 66-55.
Braylon Dame continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 20 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Lawrence County's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zander Keepers, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Lawrence County now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Lauderdale County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lawrence County will take on Hamilton at 7:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024. Lauderdale County will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lexington at 7:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
