Chester is a perfect 3-0 against Plumas Charter since April of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Volcanoes will host the Warriors at 4:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Chester's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Plumas Charter has been banged up by nine consecutive losses on the road.
If Chester beats Plumas Charter with six runs on Wednesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. The Volcanoes walked away with a 6-1 victory over CORE Butte on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Volcanoes in their matchups with the Lynx: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Plumas Charter). They came out on top against Princeton by a score of 17-13 on Monday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Warriors as it spelled an end to their eight-game losing streak.
Aubrie Schramel was a standout: she went 3-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Amaiya Beatty was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one triple.
Plumas Charter always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .537. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Everything went Chester's way against Plumas Charter in their previous meeting back in March, as Chester made off with a 14-1 win. Will the Volcanoes repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
