Munoz has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in three consecutive pitching appearances.
On the hitting side, Saige Peters was incredible, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4. She is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Ritchhart, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and two doubles.
Desert Ridge has not been sharp recently as the team has lost nine of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Corona del Sol, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-11.
