Kevin Martinez Tops All Others This Week
Starting off the list is Tri-County's Kevin Martinez, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Martinez rushed for 75 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.
Tri-County pushed their record up to 6-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Martinez and Tri-County will face off against North White at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Pearson Came Up Big in Tri-County's 52-8 Victory
Another Tri-County player making an appearance on this list is Jonathan Pearson. He rushed for 139 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 114 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Pearson must have North Newton's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Pearson saw the Spartans), he rushed for 123 yards and four touchdowns on only 11 carries.

Christian Hughes' Big Game Leads West Central over North White
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Christian Hughes stepped things up a notch to give West Central the 'W'. North White had no answer to Hughes as he rushed for 66 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries.
West Central is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. They and LaVille are set to duel on Friday.

Drea Villarreal Makes It Two for West Central
Keeping Hughes company is Drea Villarreal, a fellow West Central player. He rushed for 41 yards.
