Melody Gonzales posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. As a matter of fact, she turned in her biggest game of the season, striking out 13 batters over five innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.
