Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Union Academy

Union Academy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They blew past the Albemarle Bulldogs 23-1. With that win, the Cardinals brought their scoring average up to 6.5 runs per game.

Union Academy let Zamarion Shine and Beckett Gurian run wild. Shine scored three runs while going 2-for-2, while Gurian scored four runs while going 2-for-2. Gurian continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Colton Brucke also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
