Principals recap September 4, 2013
Fans got a thrill when Parker Carmichael and Troy Haven connected against West Holmes. The connection was good for 54 yards, the longest such play in Principals this season.
Timken moved up to 558 from 635 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Trojans climbed the ranks as a result of beating East Canton 31-14.
Triway's dynamic duo of Carmichael and Haven proved to be unstoppable against the Knights, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Carmichael threw for 287 yards and 3 touchdowns and Haven had 169 yards receiving. Jay Duncan helped Triway's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 63 yards.

Mason Karn was the best running back in the league this week. He ran for 110 yards on 11 carries as the Mustangs fell to West Holmes. Gage Lau also contributed to the rushing game with 33 yards on the ground.
Haven was the best wideout in Principals this week as the Titans fell to the Knights.
