It was another big night for Bjorn Jurgensen, who threw for 205 yards and three touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes, and also punched in two touchdowns on the ground. William Jusme was in the mix too, providing Bishop Moore with two touchdowns.
Another reason for the win was Bishop Moore's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. Leading the way was Jake Kreul and his two sacks.
This is the second loss in a row for Lake Buena Vista and nudges their season record down to 5-4. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 10.5 points per game. As for Bishop Moore, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-3.
Lake Buena Vista will be playing in front of their home fans against Colonial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Colonial is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Bishop Moore, they will head out on the road to face off against Kathleen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Kathleen will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 342nd, while Bishop Moore is ranked 83rd).
