Berry hasn't had much luck against Myers Park recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Cardinals will host the Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Thursday.
Myers Park will be up against a hot Berry team: the squad just extended their winning streak to four. The Cardinals blew past Olympic 20-2 on Tuesday. That looming 20-2 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Cardinals yet this season.
Aiden Lowery made a splash while hitting and pitching. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. He also allowed no hits, which is notable because Berry is 2-1 when he allows at most two hits, but 7-10 otherwise. Lowery was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Those two hits gave him a new career-high.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Myers Park and South Mecklenburg, and Myers Park kept the tradition alive. As for Berry, they pushed their record up to 9-11 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.
