The Chinle Wildcats entered their tilt with the Tuba City Warriors with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Chinle strolled past Tuba City with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 61-46. Given Chinle's advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 145th, while Tuba City is ranked 312th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Jostaiah Harvey was his usual excellent self, scoring 24 points along with four steals. The game was his fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Antwian Bahe, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and six steals.
Chinle's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-3. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 18 points. As for Tuba City, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chinle will stay at home for another game and welcome Show Low at 7:30 p.m. on December 19th. Show Low has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 195 points over their last three games. Tuba City will be home for the holidays to greet Snowflake at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
