Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Augustine). They strolled past the Bartram Trail Bears with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 71-56. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Yellow Jackets considering their ten-point performance the game before.

Bartram Trail lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Landon Geren, who went 5 for 11 on his way to 18 points. Geren is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played. Jammie Gore was another key player, putting up nine points.

St. Augustine pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.7 points per game. As for Bartram Trail, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-4.

St. Augustine wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 63-39 victory against Menendez on the 10th. As for Bartram Trail, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 60-39 defeat against Tocoi Creek on the 10th.
