The win was some much needed relief for the Blue Devils as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.
Leading Pahokee to victory were Kanyon Burton and Ja'Tahj Dowdell. Burton posted 19 points, while Dowdell scored 18 points. Herbert Crawford was another key player, putting up nine points.
James Griffin and Tyson Jimerson certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Griffin went 5 of 10 en route to 16 points, while Jimerson went 5 for 8 on his way to 17 points. Another player making a difference was William Tong, who had four points and nine boards.
Pahokee's victory bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Dreyfoos School of the Arts, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.
