The King City Mustangs were the 63-39 winner over the Pacific Grove Breakers when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. King City was outmatched by Pacific Grove at home and fell 56-27. King City has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Pacific Grove was led to victory by Benjamin Liddell and Gabriel Valencia. Liddell scored 10 points, while Valencia scored 16 points. The contest was Valencia's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Nimri, who scored 6 points.
King City's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Pacific Grove, their victory bumped their record up to 1-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. King City will play host again and welcome Templeton, where tip off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on December 15th. As for Pacific Grove, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hilmar at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hilmar has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
