The Detroit Eagles lost against the Harts Bluff Bulldogs on January 9th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Detroit took a 31-25 hit to the loss column at the hands of Harts Bluff.
Harts Bluff can attribute much of their success to Allie Mayfield, who scored 16 points. That's the first time this season that Mayfield scored 15 or more points.
Detroit's defeat dropped their record down to 11-21. As for Harts Bluff, their victory bumped their record up to 16-13.
Detroit will be playing at home against Maud at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Maud is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Harts Bluff, they will head out on the road to challenge Clarksville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clarksville is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.
