Maple Mountain lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Herriman, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Saturday's   game. The Maple Mountain Golden Eagles were the clear victor by  a  12-5 margin over the Herriman Mustangs on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Golden Eagles sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
 Taylee Robinson was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with one  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs. The dominant performance gave  her a new career-high in  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Chelsie Carter, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Maple Mountain  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  struck out at most two  strikeouts in three consecutive  matchups.
Maple Mountain's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Herriman, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record  this season.
 Maple Mountain will challenge Orem at 3:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Herriman, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Syracuse  at 3:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Herriman is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.7  runs per game  this season.
