The Wesley Christian Circuit Riders were able to grind out a solid victory over the Combine Academy Elite Goats on Thursday, taking the game 65-52. Give the Circuit Riders' offense some serious credit: that high-scoring performance was actually the fewest points they've scored all season.

The win made it two in a row for Wesley Christian and bumps their season record up to 4-1. As for Combine Academy Elite, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wesley Christian will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Tri-Cities Christian at 7:30 p.m. on the 24th. As for Combine Academy Elite, they will face off against Mount Zion Christian Collegiate at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Goats' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
