Bristol Central has gone 8-1 against Bristol Eastern recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Thursday. After each having a week off,  the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and  face off against  one another  at 10:30  a.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
 Bristol Central is headed in fresh off scoring the most  points they have all season. They put the hurt on Middletown with a sharp  48-23 win last Thursday. The  victory was nothing new for the Rams as they're now sitting on three straight.
  Donnie Rodriguez continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 193 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.2 yards per carry, and also throwing for 45 yards and three touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes. With that strong performance,  he is now averaging an impressive 108.7  rushing yards per game. Another player making a difference was  Jayden Glasper, who rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries.
 Bristol Central was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 289  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 157  rushing yards in 13 consecutive  matchups  dating back to last season.

 Meanwhile, Bristol Eastern made easy work of RHAM  last Thursday and carried off  a  28-6 win. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Lancers.
  Alex Corvo looked great while leading his team to the win,  rushing for six yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 74 yards and two touchdowns while completing 73.7% of his passes.  Lincoln Bashaw handled things on the ground, rushing for 80 yards.
 Bristol Central's victory was  their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 8-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 36.8 points per game. As for Bristol Eastern, they now  have a winning record of 5-4.
 Bristol Central beat Bristol Eastern 14-7  in their previous meeting  back in November of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bristol Central since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
