Ellet won the last time they faced Buchtel and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Orangemen put the hurt on the Griffins with a sharp 17-5 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Orangemen.

Logan Wilson made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Wilson was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

In other batting news, Keaton McKeel was a standout: he scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Evan Dowling, who scored two runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Ellet's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Ellet will take on Waterloo at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Buchtel, they will welcome Garfield at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
