El Dorado is 0-5 against Kapaun Mt. Carmel since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Thursday. The El Dorado Wildcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Kapaun Mt. Carmel Crusaders at 7:45  p.m. El Dorado is out to stop a 13-game streak of losses at home dating back to last season.
 Last Friday, El Dorado came up short against Rose Hill  and fell  57-48. El Dorado has not had much luck with Rose Hill recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
 Despite the  defeat, El Dorado had strong showings from  Logan Garner, who  scored 17 points, and  Tre Fanklin, who  scored 11 points along with four  steals. That was a full 35.4% of El Dorado's points, marking the third time in a row he's  earned more than a third of the team's points.
 Meanwhile,  after a string of eight wins, Kapaun Mt. Carmel's good fortune finally ran out  on Tuesday. They fell  65-55 to Heights. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest  points Kapaun Mt. Carmel has scored all season.
 El Dorado's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Kapaun Mt. Carmel, their loss  ended a 15-game streak of away wins  dating back to last season and  brought them to 8-1.
 El Dorado took a serious blow against Kapaun Mt. Carmel  when the teams last played  back in January of 2023, falling  67-25. Can El Dorado avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
