Carolina Christian AA recap Oct. 30, 2012
Carolina Pride led Carolina Christian AA in scoring this week after putting up 30 points on Raleigh Titans.
Thanks to the talents of Jake MacKey and Jonathan Adams the Pride have been able to do all sorts of things on offense. MacKey leads the league in passing with 652 yards, while Adams has rushed for 876 yards this season. Airborne for Christ's Cory Graham leads the league in receiving yards with 217 on five catches.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Carolina Pride takes on second place Airborne for Christ. Carolina Pride beat Raleigh Titans last week, while the Rangers.
There should be lots of points scored when Airborne for Christ and Mike Martin's team face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Tony West's team comes in having scored 94 this season, while the Pride have scored 201.
Carolina Pride made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 8,350 from 8,481. The improvement was the result of 30-6 victory over Jeff Nyce's team last week.
