Make it six blowout wins for the Altamonte Christian Eagles this season. They blew past Lake Mary Prep 76-30 on the road. The victory was just what Altamonte Christian needed coming off of a 84-61 defeat in their prior contest.
Altamonte Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ashton Billings, who scored 14 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Almeda, who scored 17 points.
Altamonte Christian is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. As for Lake Mary Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.
Altamonte Christian will head out on the road to face off against East River at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. East River presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Altamonte Christian in Florida (East River is ranked 101st, while Altamonte Christian is ranked 254th). As for Lake Mary Prep, they will square off against Seven Rivers Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
