Zyeiar White Turns in Season-Best Effort
Sadly, Zyeiar White posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Terre Haute North Vigo over Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory on Friday. White rushed for 323 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 56 yards.
White might have his next game, a home matchup with Bloomington North, circled on his calendar. Back in September (the last time White saw the Cougars), he rushed for 173 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.9 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown.

A Season-Best Performance from Tony Taylor Leads Southport over Bloomington North
On Friday, Southport had to settle for second even though Tony Taylor put up the best numbers he has all season. Taylor rushed for 105 yards and a touchdown on only five carries. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 77 yards.
Southport is on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9. Taylor and Southport will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Perry Meridian at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st.

Samuel Weihert Makes It Two for Terre Haute North Vigo
The second Terre Haute North Vigo player making an appearance here is Samuel Weihert, and for good reason. He picked up 140 receiving yards. He was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 58 yards.
On the season, Weihert has averaged 53.7 receiving yards per game.

Ratliff Made His Presence Known in Columbus North's 48-24 Win
Asher Ratliff put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in August on Friday. He threw for 210 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 66 yards.
The win was the fourth in a row for Columbus North, bringing their record for this year to 8-1. Ratliff and Columbus North will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Franklin Central at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st.
