Findlay is a perfect 3-0 against Elida since September of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Trojans will head out on the road to square off against the Bulldogs at 12:15 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Findlay turned things around against Waite on Thursday. They blew past the Indians 3-0.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Findlay took every set by at least 16 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-9, 25-9.

Findlay's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kelsey Ferguson, who had nine aces and three digs. That's the most digs Ferguson has posted over her last four matchups. The team also got some help courtesy of Anika Helms, who had 16 assists and four aces.
They weren't the only good servers: Findlay was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 25 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Elida, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Wapakoneta on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 win.
The final score came out to 25-17, 25-22, 25-22.
Findlay's record is now 7-11. As for Elida, their record now sits at 8-12.
Everything went Findlay's way against Elida when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Findlay made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
