Kaden Carter Has Career-Day on Friday
Starting off the list is Lamar County's Kaden Carter, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Carter made two total tackles (1.0 for loss), good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 81 yards.
The victory was the third in a row for Lamar County, bringing their record for this year to 6-1. Carter and Lamar County will square off against Putnam County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Rashod Daniel Turns in Season-Best Effort
On Friday, Putnam County got the W thanks in part to Rashod Daniel playing the best football he has all season. Daniel rushed for 170 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He has become a key player for Putnam County: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least 100 rushing yards, but 2-3 otherwise.
This year, Daniel has run in 16 touchdowns while averaging 124.9 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 58.29 rushing yards per game.

Big Game from Hardge As Social Circle Won 38-19
Jameccus Hardge's big game helped extend Social Circle's winning streak to three on Friday. Hardge was unstoppable, rushing for 43 yards and two touchdowns.
If the past is any indication, Hardge could be in store for another big game when he takes on Jasper County on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Hardge saw the Hurricanes), he rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, and also threw for 37 yards and a touchdown.

Jude Nelson Makes It Two for Social Circle
Another Social Circle player making an appearance on this list is Jude Nelson. He picked up 63 receiving yards and a touchdown. He was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 63 yards.
For the season, Nelson has caught 6 touchdowns while averaging 55 receiving yards per game.
