Sky View (Smithfield, Utah) kept up a steady attack all game long to beat Bonneville (Washington Terrace, Utah), 37-7, on Saturday.
The Bobcats were up 23-0 at the half after taking the lead on a field goal by
Nelson Griffiths in the first quarter.
Sky View expanded its lead to 30 points entering the fourth quarter. SV scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by
Ethan Dursteler.
Moore played well for the Smithfield school in the victory. He ran for three touchdowns and kicked one field goal and four extra points.
The Lakers' lone touchdown came on a pass in the third quarter.
The Bobcats had struggled this season, allowing 33.6 points per game.
Sky View also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 21-17.
In a non-conference game next week Sky View (4-5) takes on Weber, and Bonneville (2-8) will go up against Murray also in a non-conference game.
