The West Morgan Rebels won against the Lawrence County Red Devils last Monday with 50 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. West Morgan came out on top in a nail-biter against Lawrence County and snuck past 50-48. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win West Morgan has posted yet this season.
Despite the loss, Lawrence County still got an impressive performance from Kylie Graham, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Graham has scored all season. Ava Templeton was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with three steals.
The victory got West Morgan back to even at 11-11. As for Lawrence County, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost ten of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.
West Morgan will head out on the road to face off against Westminster Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lawrence County, they will be playing at home against Russellville at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
