St. Helena put another one in the bag  on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their  game  with ease, bagging  a  36-7 victory over the Clear Lake Cardinals. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Saints just coasted through the last quarter.
St. Helena was led to victory by  Julian Earls and  Jhony Covarrubias.  Earls rushed for 88 yards and a pair of  scores on only 11 carries, while  Covarrubias rushed for 62 yards and two  touchdowns on only eight carries. The Saints also got a significant boost from  Eric Torres, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 91 yards.
 On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to St. Helena's defense and their five sacks. The heavy lifting was done by  Tristan Mowe and  Ben Brakesman, who racked up  four sacks between them.
St. Helena's record is now 8-0. As for Clear Lake, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record  this season.
 St. Helena will look to defend their home field  on Friday against Willits  at 7:00  p.m. The Wolverines will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more  points each  contest than the last. As for Clear Lake, they will face off against Middletown at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
