The Orange Vista Coyotes had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.2 points), and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They took down Eisenhower 21-7.
It was another big night for Sire Gaines, who rushed for 186 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.9 yards per carry. Jesse Anderson was another key contributor, rushing for 83 yards and a touchdown.
Orange Vista's win was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 8-3. Even more impressive is the teams they beat to make that streak: Eisenhower, Rancho Verde, and Elsinore. As for Eisenhower, their loss dropped their record down to 9-2.
Orange Vista does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Eisenhower also has no future games currently scheduled.
