While Surry Central put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for North Surry. The Golden Eagles didn't even let the Greyhounds on the board, marking the Golden Eagles' second-straight 14-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Golden Eagles, who have now won four contests by 11 runs or more so far this season.

The win (which was Surry Central's third in a row) raised their record to 5-3. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.7 runs over those games. As for North Surry, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Surry Central will square off against East Surry at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Surry, they will challenge Starmount at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Greyhounds will need to watch out since the Rams have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games.
