Reed-Custer has been on the road for four straight, but on Monday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Lisle Lions at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Reed-Custer focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 33 on Thursday.
Last Thursday, Reed-Custer ended up a good deal behind the Coalers and lost 46-27. While losing is never fun, Reed-Custer can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 427th, while the Coalers are ranked 157th).
Kaylee Tribble put forth a good effort for the losing side as she almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Lisle over the Bulldogs in every quarter on their way to victory on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Lisle blew the Bulldogs out of the water with a 53-17 final score. That 36 point margin sets a new team best for Lisle this season.
Reed-Custer now has a losing record at 13-14. As for Lisle, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season.
