 In other batting news,  Briana Lohr was  incredible,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 3-for-3. She has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last four times she's  played.  Madison Collazo also deserves some recognition as  she  snagged her first  stolen bases of the season.
 Meanwhile,  there's no place like home for Apopka, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Wednesday. They came out on top against Windermere on Friday by a score of  5-4 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
 Apopka's win was  their fifth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 9-3. The  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Dr. Phillips, their record is now 8-2.
 Dr. Phillips might still be hurting after the  15-0 defeat they got from Apopka  in their previous meeting  back in April of 2024. Can Dr. Phillips avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
