Biggersville barely beat Falkner the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lions put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 18-6 win on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won five contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

Biggersville pushed their record up to 6-8 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Falkner, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-11 record.

Biggersville has already played their next matchup (against Hatley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Falkner, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when Falkner Eagles take on Myrtle Hawks at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
