Greenfield have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will challenge Gleason on the road at Gleason High School at 7:00 PM on Friday. Greenfield are coming into the contest hot, having won three in a row.
Greenfield put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season two weeks ago. They steamrollered Humboldt 44-0.the rankings were on Greenfield's side, but they didn't forecast quite such a lopsided result
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Gleason, and their matchup last Friday only extended their streak of losses to five. They found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 42-68 punch to the gut against Humboldt last Friday.
Greenfield's win lifted them to 5-2 while Gleason's loss dropped them down to 1-6. Given their high-scoring efforts against their previous opponents, it will be interesting to see how far up these teams can run up the score.
