The Dublin Scioto Irish are taking a road trip to square off against the Big Walnut Golden Eagles at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Dublin Scioto's pitching crew has only allowed two runs per game this season, so Big Walnut's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pacers. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Irish's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Wednesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Dublin Scioto hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .373. Dublin Scioto was able to grind out a solid victory over Big Walnut in their previous meeting two weeks ago, winning 4-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Irish since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
