Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for The Long Reach Lightning, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They fell 26-13 to Great Mills on Friday.
Donovan Bryan had a dynamite game for Great Mills, rushing for 241 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 12.1 yards per carry.
Long Reach's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Great Mills, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-4.
Long Reach does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Great Mills will head out on the road to face off against North Point at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Point will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.
