The Harvest Community Warriors can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent contest on Thursday. They breezed by Faith Christian Academy on the road to the tune of 78-40. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 53-23.
Leading Harvest Community to victory were Isaiah Bunso and Adrian Walker. Bunso dropped a double-double on 16 points and 17 rebounds, while Walker scored 16 points along with six rebounds and six steals. Bunso hasn't dropped below nine rebounds for 13 straight games. Another player making a difference was Ryan Pritchard, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds and five assists.
Despite the loss, Faith Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Anders Caleb, who scored 29 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Caleb has scored all season.
Harvest Community has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-12 record this season. As for Faith Christian Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.
Harvest Community won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Rockets at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th. River City Science Academy is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Faith Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against the Crusaders at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
